Gurvan Tsenkher Cave (Gurvan Tsenkheriin Agui) is one of the most important prehistoric archaeological sites in Mongolia, located in Bayan-Ölgii Province in the far western Altai region. The cave lies in a remote mountain area west of Ölgii town, surrounded by rocky hills, steppe valleys, and ancient nomadic routes.

The name Gurvan Tsenkher means “Three Blue”, referring to the distinctive bluish tones of the surrounding rock formations and landscape.
